Born in Tübingen, raised in northern Bavaria and with a carpenter's apprenticeship under her belt, Hanna Pietzcker soon started exploring fresh territory. She ventured into the world of design in Barcelona and New York where she worked, studied and, among other things, took part in the redecoration of a fire station according to Jerry Seinfeld's specifications.

She eventually settled down in Berlin in 2007 and has since gained a reputation as a “luxury carpenter”, a term the industrial designer with a degree from the UdK Berlin (Universität der Künste Berlin ) explains as follows:

“At the beginning of each job I take a lot of time to get an exact picture of my clients and their wishes. This luxury is an essential element in the process of creating the draft, which later reflects on the end product itself and never goes unnoticed.”
